As an Industrial Organizational or "Workplace" Psychologist, my style of training and consultation is aimed at promoting the ongoing self-directed learning, professional development, and growth of the individual, group, or organization. It is geared toward asking the right questions, not simply giving people answers. It is a process focusing on constructing lasting solutions and goal attainment, not simply assessing where the problems came from. It is also a journey geared toward reaching higher levels of awareness and skill that can be applied to all the different areas of one's life. In some situation that may mean using effective survey tools to better gather a consensus from the group as a "whole" while other times it may mean using a small focus group or even individual interviews.
Whether it be training and development, individual or group assessments, virtual or face-to-face consultations, or program evaluation and mediation; my goal is to always ensure that the client is experiencing that moment of reflection and growth while building on their own strengths.
For some it may mean individual or one-on-one, for others it may mean working with pairs or teams, and for some, providing consulting and training on an organizational level with anticipation of assisting in the transformation of change. As a PhD candidate in Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychology with a graduate degree in Business Administration/Marketing and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communication and additional training in mediation, I value the process of continual transitional and personal development. I am extremely passionate about identifying and leveraging the unique strengths of both teams and leaders through assessment, development, and the implementation of strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives. Whether working with the individual, teams or groups, senior executives, or small to large organizations; my expertise in self-awareness and variables interacting with and impacting an organizational culture and climate will benefit you.
